Federer’s Wimbledon 2011 hopes

Despite only being the 3rd seed this year, Federer is still most experts’ favourite to win the title. If so it will be his 7th title, equaling Pete Sampras’s record. Federer has now won more single’s grand slam titles that anyone else. Greatest of all time? It would seem so. However while Federer has 16 grand slam titles to his name, Rafael Nadal now has 10, is the reigning Wimbledon men’s champion and is still only 25.

Federer definitely has the edge on style, maybe this comes from his ongoing relationship with Vogue’s Anna Wintour, a big fan who often travels to watch him play.
